We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Automotive Service Writer to join our growing team. This role is the key connection between our customers and technicians, ensuring a smooth, transparent, and professional service experience from start to finish.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Service Writer / Service Advisor preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic automotive knowledge (diagnostics and repair terminology)
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong computer and POS system skills
- Valid driver’s license
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and assess vehicle service needs
- Write accurate repair orders and clearly explain recommended services
- Communicate with technicians regarding diagnostics, repairs, and timelines
- Provide service estimates and obtain customer approvals
- Maintain accurate customer and vehicle records
- Upsell maintenance and repair services ethically and professionally
- Deliver excellent customer service before, during, and after repairs
