As an Automotive Service Technician, you will perform vehicle maintenance and repairs according to dealership and factory standards. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Michigan Mechanic Certification

  • Capability to meet established production and quality standards
  • Ability to read and understand repair instructions and technical documents

  • Physical ability to perform required tasks including lifting and mobility demands

Responsibilities

  • Receive and review repair orders from dispatch and complete assigned tasks efficiently and accurately
  • Diagnose vehicle malfunctions and perform authorized repairs
  • Coordinate with the Parts Department to acquire necessary parts
  • Tag, save, and return parts as needed for warranty or customer requests
  • Communicate promptly with service advisors regarding repair status or unexpected issues
  • Document completed work and perform road tests to ensure customer concerns are addressed
  • Conduct quality checks on all repairs performed
  • Attend training sessions to stay updated on technical bulletins and repair procedures
  • Maintain cleanliness of customer vehicles and work areas
  • Adhere to safety protocols and comply with federal, state, and local regulations
