CMA Hyundai of Lynchburg is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our growing team in a brand-new, state-of-the-art, air-conditioned facility. Our shop is currently undergoing a major renovation—tripling the number of service bays—to better serve our customers and support our expanding team. Requirements

  • The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of hands-on automotive repair experience.
  • While dealership experience is strongly preferred, it is not required.
  • Additionally, prior experience with Hyundai or Kia vehicles is a plus, though not mandatory.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency with computer-based diagnostic tools and repair software
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
  • Proficient in electrical systems
  • Knowledge of Dealer Management Systems (e.g., CDK, Reynolds and Reynolds)
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to managing comeback rate of 5% or less.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Experience working in a dealership or high-volume service center
  • Eager to embrace and master emerging automotive technologies
  • Dedicated to continuously expanding technical skills and knowledge
  • ASE Certification(s) or equivalent automotive training
  • Familiarity with Hyundai and Kia vehicle systems
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality service and customer satisfaction
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, evolving work environment
