About The Position

Ira Ford Saco is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Manager to lead our service department operations. This role oversees daily workflow, team performance, warranty processes, and customer satisfaction while driving efficiency and profitability. The ideal candidate has dealership service leadership experience and a hands-on management style.

Requirements

  • Previous Service Manager or senior service leadership experience required
  • Automotive dealership experience strongly preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Working knowledge of dealership DMS systems (CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, AutoMate, Xtime preferred)
  • Understanding of service operations, diagnostics, and warranty processes
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily service department operations, scheduling, and workflow
  • Lead, train, and support service advisors and technicians
  • Oversee warranty administration to ensure compliance and maximize recovery
  • Supervise mobile service operations and off-site service performance
  • Resolve escalated customer concerns and maintain high CSI scores
  • Monitor KPIs, labor efficiency, expenses, and department profitability
  • Coordinate with Parts, Sales, and Body Shop departments
  • Ensure compliance with manufacturer, safety, and dealership standards
