Requirements
- Previous experience as a Service Manager or Assistant Service Manager
- Strong leadership, organizational, and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Proven ability to manage teams and drive results
- Solid understanding of automotive service operations and systems
- Tech-savvy and comfortable with dealership software
- Ability to work independently and lead by example
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Positive, professional attitude with a passion for excellence
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all daily operations of the service department
- Drive customer satisfaction and maintain high CSI scores
- Oversee service advisors, technicians, and support staff
- Ensure efficient workflow, scheduling, and repair order management
- Act as the main liaison between customers, technicians, and management
- Monitor department performance, productivity, and profitability
- Ensure compliance with dealership policies, manufacturer standards, and safety regulations
- Handle warranty administration and manufacturer relationships
- Coach, train, and develop service department employees
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently
