About The Position

Capital Ford of Charlotte is seeking a skilled and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our service team. As the primary point of contact for customers needing maintenance or repair work, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional service experience. This position requires strong communication, organization, and the ability to guide customers confidently through the service process. Requirements

  • Previous experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or similar role within the automotive industry preferred
  • Strong understanding of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and deliver exceptional service
  • Proficiency with software tools used for scheduling, estimating, and invoicing
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough vehicle walkarounds and gather customer concerns to accurately assess service needs
  • Clearly explain recommended services, repair options, and associated costs to customers to build trust and transparency
  • Schedule service appointments and effectively manage the workflow of the service department
  • Coordinate with technicians to ensure smooth communication and timely completion of all repair work
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, maintaining a high level of satisfaction
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area
  • Perform other duties as assigned
