About The Position

Toyota of Kenner is seeking a highly motivated and customer service-oriented individual to join our team as an Automotive Service Advisor. This is a full-time position with a base salary plus commission structure, located in Kenner, Louisiana. As an Automotive Service Advisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and sales support to our clients by assisting them with their automotive service needs. Compensation & Benefits: The compensation for this position is $60,000 to $120,000 per year, paid semimonthly. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or in a similar customer service role.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of automotive mechanical systems and terminology.
Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
Basic computer and math skills.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Greet customers and assist them with their service needs.
Conduct a comprehensive vehicle inspection and accurately diagnose any issues.
Create detailed service estimates and explain them to customers.
Communicate with technicians about necessary repairs and provide updates to customers.
Recommend additional services based on vehicle needs and manufacturer recommendations.
Schedule appointments and manage the service department’s schedule.
Maintain accurate records of service history and communicate them to customers.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
Utilize dealership management software to maintain customer and vehicle information.
Upsell products and services to customers to meet or exceed sales targets.
Follow up with customers after service to ensure satisfaction.
Assist with parts ordering and inventory management as needed.
