About The Position

You will schedule service work, advise customers on vehicle maintenance, and promote additional services to enhance customer satisfaction and service revenue.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of two years dealership experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and vehicle information.
  • Professional personal appearance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with computer systems and web navigation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Customer-focused with the ability to overcome objections.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) ratings as determined by management.
  • Manage and document repair orders accurately and legibly.
  • Greet customers promptly in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to understand their vehicle concerns.
  • Conduct test drives when necessary to diagnose vehicle conditions.
  • Advise customers on recommended maintenance and repairs per manufacturer's guidelines.
  • Inspect vehicles for potential additional repair needs and communicate findings clearly.
  • Provide accurate estimates for labor and parts, obtaining customer approval before proceeding.
  • Manage payment authorizations and obtain signatures on repair orders.
  • Follow up with customers regarding the progress of their repairs and any changes to estimates.
  • Handle telephone inquiries related to service appointments and work in progress.
  • Ensure final invoices match repair orders.
  • Deliver vehicles to customers and address any questions or concerns.
  • Maintain clean and organized service and customer waiting areas.
  • Foster positive relationships with customers to encourage repeat and referral business.
