About The Position

Northgate Tire , a full-service auto repair shop serving the Cincinnati community, is hiring an experienced Automotive Service Advisor / Service Writer . We’re looking for someone with a positive attitude who delivers excellent customer service and enjoys working with a motivated, supportive team.

Requirements

• Experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or Service Writer
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Team-oriented, dependable, and professional
• High school diploma or GED is required
• Must possess a current valid driver's license and have a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
• Willing to commit to building the customer experience and a shop reputation for honesty, transparency, and outstanding work.
• MUST HAVE at least 1 or more years’ Service Writer/Advisor experience or other experience that closely matches the Service Advisor responsibilities.
• Develops a great working relationship with the Technicians that is founded on respect.
• Strong customer service skills.
• MUST HAVE 1 or more years’ experience in a sales role or demonstrates an ability to sell and lead.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide a great service experience
• Communicate repair recommendations clearly
• Support technicians and maintain shop workflow
• Build trust and long-term customer relationships
