About The Position

We’re looking for an Automotive Service Advisor to join our growing team — no prior automotive experience required! The Service Advisor is responsible for ensuring an exemplary experience for the service customer by providing a prompt and friendly greeting, listening to their description of problems or services needed, preparing repair orders and being proactive, accurate and thorough in communication. The Service Advisors serves as a liaison between customer and technician ensuring the customer’s needs are understood by the technician and the recommended service and/or repairs are understood by the customer.

Requirements

  • Prior Automotive Service Advisor experience preferred (two years minimum), but open to candidates of all experience levels.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Friendly, professional, and team-oriented attitude.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on problem-solving.
  • Commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience.
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
  • 18 years or older required
  • All potential employees must pass pre-employment testing including a background check and drug screen

Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate Repair Orders showing time, cost and labor estimates, verifying warranty and service contracts and reviewing with clients.
  • Promote the sale of labor, parts and accessories by providing explanation of estimates and obtaining approval for work that is sold.
  • Follow the progress of service repairs and provide customers with timely updates.
  • Ensure high levels of customer service and retention by promptly addressing and resolving customer complaints.
  • Take ownership of the customer's experience by completing extra tasks that contribute to leaving a positive impression at the dealership.
