About The Position

The Senior Detailer at Xcite Automotive will be responsible for executing high-quality interior and exterior detailing, mentoring junior team members, and ensuring all vehicles meet company and client quality standards. This position requires strong attention to detail, efficiency, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment. Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional automotive detailing experience
  • Strong experience with buffing, polishing, and paint correction
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-driven environment
  • Comfortable with physical labor (standing, bending, lifting, moving vehicles)
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Ability to operate manual and automatic vehicles
  • High attention to detail and consistency in quality
  • Reliable transportation and strong work ethic

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a lead or senior detailing role
  • Experience working in dealership or high-volume shop environments
  • Knowledge of ceramic coatings or advanced protection systems
  • Familiarity with inventory tracking or workflow coordination
  • Experience training or mentoring new hires
  • Dealership detailing (new/used car prep, PDI, reconditioning)
  • Body shop or collision center exposure
  • High-end or luxury vehicle detailing
  • Mobile detailing or independent detailing business ownership
  • Experience with Snappy Shine, Ceramic Pro, or similar product lines
  • Production-based or commission-driven detailing environments

Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced interior and exterior detailing (wash, clay bar, buffing, polishing, waxing, shampooing, stain removal)
  • Execute paint correction techniques (compounding, polishing, swirl removal)
  • Conduct final quality control inspections to ensure vehicles meet client standards
  • Safely move and stage vehicles across dealership or lot environments
  • Train and support junior detailers on processes, efficiency, and quality expectations
  • Maintain proper use of chemicals, tools, and equipment
  • Ensure daily production goals and turnaround times are met
  • Follow all company safety protocols and operational procedures
  • Communicate effectively with management regarding workflow, delays, or issues
