About The Position
Blaise Alexander Family Dealerships is a premier auto dealership with over 40 years of success in Pennsylvania, employing 1,200 professionals across 21 dealerships. They offer opportunities for career growth and are currently seeking an Automotive Salesperson to join their growing team at Blaise Alexander Hyundai Mazda of State College. No prior experience is needed, but it is preferred, and a training program is provided for unexperienced employees.
Requirements
- Valid Driver’s License
- HS Diploma or Equivalent
- Interpersonal skills and comfort with meeting new people daily
- Ability to contact customers, complete sales, and manage other tasks independently
- Time management and prioritization skills to meet deadlines
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in automotive sales
Responsibilities
- Approaching and talking to customers who enter the dealership lot
- Listening and asking questions to determine the customer’s needs and wants in a vehicle
- Provide knowledgeable information and demonstrate features of suitable inventory
- Ensure the customer understands the paperwork, warranty, and vehicle’s
- Closes sales by overcoming objections, asking for sales, negotiating prices, and completing sales and purchasing contracts
- Cultivates buyers by maintaining rapport with current and previous customers
