Requirements

  • Highschool Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 5+ years of sales/business development experience (required)
  • Proven track record of sales success
  • Consultative selling skills
  • Automotive, Auto repair, Petroleum and/or Commercial Fleet experience
  • Exemplary communication and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated; able to work independently without daily supervision
  • Strong organization skills, project management, territory management
  • Authorized to work in the US
  • Must be able to meet company’s employment requirements, which includes passing a drug screen, criminal background check, and MVR, if driving for the company

Responsibilities

  • Serves as a consultant to customers requiring solutions in the automotive shop and fleet repair facilities
  • Manages customer relationship and serves as lead point of contact for assigned accounts
  • Develops quotes and proposals to meet customer requirements
  • Creates new business activity by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing and potential customers
  • Collaborates with our supplier base to stay current on all price lists and product literature
  • Keeps management informed by submitting reports on results and activity
  • Collaborates with our service and construction teams to develop and submit competitive proposals to meet customer needs
  • Solves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and working closely with our supplier representatives
  • Promotes repair service and installation opportunities along with equipment sales
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed
