About The Position
Would you consider yourself a Self-Starter? Have you always been able to pick up on things quickly and learn? If so, Ron Tonkin Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Fiat is currently adding Automotive Sales Representatives/Consultants to our Sales Team. Our Sales Roster is full of long-term employees who have been in the automotive industry for decades. We recently renovated our dealership to match our sales demands and now we are looking for people to help develop and grow with us. As a Automotive Sales Representative/Consultant, your main objective will be customer service and assisting clients through the purchasing process. You don’t need experience in the automotive industry – any customer-orientated jobs translate well! The ideal candidate is going to be ready to learn and willing to help!
Requirements
- Automotive sales experience is NOT required.
- Computer skills (Word, CRM, Texting, Email).
- A current valid driver’s license is required for all employees.
- Corporate requirements: Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record, able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers, help diagnose their needs, and explain how their needs translate to a new vehicle.
- Show and explain exactly what their new car has and how it operates.
- Follow up with leads via phone, text, and email.
- Negotiate sales transactions.
- Attend training and sales meetings.
- Complete sales transaction paperwork.
