About The Position

Advantage Chevrolet of Bolingbrook is seeking a motivated and customer focused Automotive Salesman to join our growing team. This role is responsible for assisting customers through the vehicle purchasing process while delivering an exceptional dealership experience. The ideal candidate is driven results oriented and thrives in a fast paced environment.

Requirements

• Prior automotive sales experience preferred but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Valid drivers license with acceptable driving record
• Strong desire to succeed and grow within the dealership

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in person and online in a professional and courteous manner
• Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate new and pre owned vehicles
• Conduct vehicle presentations and test drives
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to generate repeat and referral business
• Accurately complete sales documentation and ensure compliance with dealership policies
• Work collaboratively with finance management and service departments
• Follow up with customers before and after the sale to ensure satisfaction
• Meet or exceed individual and team sales goals
