About The Position

As an Automotive Sales Manager at Albany Subaru, you will lead and motivate the sales team to consistently meet or exceed vehicle sales targets. You will oversee sales forecasting, inventory management, staff hiring and training, and customer service resolution. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; some post-secondary education or training preferred
  • Experience in sales across any industry; automotive dealership experience is highly preferred
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Supervisory or management experience with proven leadership and motivational skills
  • Excellent communication skills and an outgoing personality comfortable with public interaction
  • Professionalism, reliability, and strong work ethic
  • Experience with Reynolds and Reynolds software is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Develop accurate sales forecasts and implement effective sales strategies
  • Hire, train, and monitor performance of sales team members
  • Set and manage sales quotas and goals to ensure targets are achieved
  • Resolve customer complaints and support sales closings as needed
  • Prepare timely and detailed reports on sales activities
  • Manage inventory levels to optimize vehicle availability
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support dealership operations
