Position Overview: We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Automotive Sales Consultant to join our sales team. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to helping customers find the perfect vehicle to fit their needs while delivering a high level of service and professionalism. You’ll work closely with customers, learn about their preferences, and guide them through the sales process in a positive and friendly manner.

Requirements

  • Previous sales experience, preferably in the automotive industry (but not required).
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with customers and understand their needs.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a desire to succeed.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with a diverse group of customers.
  • Professional, well-groomed appearance.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist customers who visit the dealership, providing them with a positive and engaging experience.
  • Listen to customer needs, ask relevant questions, and offer solutions that match their requirements.
  • Explain the features, benefits, and performance of our vehicles, and provide test drives to showcase their capabilities.
  • Guide customers through the entire sales process, from initial inquiry to closing the sale, ensuring a seamless experience.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals before and after the sale.
  • Stay updated on the latest Chevrolet models, features, and promotions to effectively communicate with customers and assist them in making informed decisions.
  • Work with the sales team and other departments to meet sales goals and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Report to the Sales Manager on daily activities, sales progress, and customer feedback.
