Requirements

  • Previous experience in automotive sales preferred but not required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Basic knowledge of financing options and automotive technologies.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in sales is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Customer Engagement: Greet customers, understand their preferences, and guide them through the vehicle selection process.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay updated on the latest automotive features, specifications, and technology to effectively communicate product benefits to customers.
  • Sales Process: Conduct test drives, present financing options, negotiate terms, and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Customer Service: Provide a high level of customer service before, during, and after the sale to build long-lasting relationships.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the sales team, finance department, and service department to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Follow-Up: Maintain ongoing communication with customers to address any concerns, provide follow-up information, and encourage referrals.
  • Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with dealership policies and procedures.
