About The Position

Jackie Cooper Imports of Tulsa is currently looking to hire exceptional people who are looking for a career path into the automotive dealership industry. The Reconditioning Porter position helps ensure a seamless process of reconditioning pre-owned vehicles, from intake to store delivery. This position reports to the Reconditioning Manager and will work between the three locations of Jackie Cooper Imports on South Memorial. While considered an entry level position, the Recon Porter will have a natural career path into the Reconditioning department so, we are looking for people who have an exceptional work ethic and are want to build a career with us.
The ideal candidate has a high energy level, a desire to work in a fast-paced environment, and a valid driver’s license. Candidates must have an attention to detail, maintain a positive attitude, and be able to safely maneuver vehicles. This position will be working autonomously, as well as with a team. The ability to work well in both is imperative. Previous reconditioning experience not required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Unrestricted driver's license (intermediate driver's license not allowed), and clean driving record
• Able to safely operate motor vehicles in tight and small spaces
• Highly professional and dependable
• Excellent communication, customer service, and problem solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Basic computer and internet skills
• Clean, readable handwriting

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a similar role a plus

Responsibilities

• Driving vehicles from dealership locations to Reconditioning Center at Jackie Cooper Infiniti
• Initiating the reconditioning process with vehicle check in
• Printing sticker packet for each vehicle prior to reconditioning
• Creating vehicle inventory bar code prior to reconditioning
• Turning over vehicles for reconditioning services
• Parts running, as needed
• Fueling, as needed
• Following all safety and security procedures
• Performing other duties as assigned
