We are currently seeking a reliable Automotive Porter to join our team and contribute to a positive customer experience. Position Overview The Automotive Porter is responsible for maintaining the appearance and condition of vehicles on the lot and ensuring excellent presentation for customers. This role requires interaction with various teams including Product Specialists, Service Managers, and Sales Managers, working together to deliver customer satisfaction.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license and ability to operate an automobile safely
Proven customer service skills
Ability to handle machinery safely
Authorized to work in the USA
Must perform all duties in a safe manner
Ability to pass pre-employment screenings including background checks, motor vehicle records, drug testing, and credit reports

Responsibilities

Support the company vision and mission by leading yourself and the team effectively
Remove protective coverings and identification tags before delivering completed vehicles to customers
Inspect vehicles for stains, debris, and damages prior to customer delivery and report any issues immediately
Clean both the interior and exterior of new and used vehicles
Maintain a neat and orderly vehicle lot, moving vehicles as directed and in compliance with dealership standards
Pick up vehicles from and deliver vehicles to storage areas
Test batteries on customer vehicles located in the service areas
Assist in building and grounds maintenance as needed
Support shop clean-up and manage deliveries when required
