About The Position

We are seeking for a full-time Automotive Receptionist at Shively Motors located in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania. Reporting to the Office Manager, the Automotive Receptionist is responsible for providing essential customer service by welcoming and assisting customers, answering questions, providing information, and maintaining efficient customer area operations. Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
At least two years of prior receptionist, customer service, sales or administrative experience (preferred)
Strong knowledge of customer service techniques including telephone etiquette, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational, multitasking and problem-solving abilities
Detail-oriented with the ability to follow tasks through to completion
Computer proficiency with MS Office Suite, and ability to learn dealership software
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must have valid driver’s license and be insurable

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner when they enter the showroom
Answer telephones, assess customer needs and answer questions regarding products or services
Provide additional customer service support as needed throughout the dealership
Handle cash transactions with customers
Maintain up-to-date customer contact information in the customer database
Process customer payments, generate receipts and receive payments
Coordinate with other departments in the dealership on customer inquiries and requests
Follow up on customer inquiries and requests in a timely manner
Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the customer area
