About The Position

If you have excellent customer service and organizational skills, you will do well in the automotive industry. A Product Specialist is extremely knowledgeable about the vehicles at our dealership. If you are an enthusiastic self -starter with a passion for assisting customers, then we want you to be part of our team. The ideal candidate has excellent customer service skills, a confident and outgoing personality, a professional appearance, and great communication skills. Must also be self -motivated and eager to learn. No vehicle specific knowledge? GREAT! We welcome the opportunity to train you to become one of the best. Desirable customer service experience comes from many occupations: Product sales, where you first determine the customer’s requirements, then using your product knowledge, show and demonstrate the product(s) that best meet those needs. (Appliances, Computers, Televisions, Audio Systems, are examples.) Product/service sales where the competition demands that you know why the customer should buy what you have to offer. (Internet access, mobile phones, etc.) Servers and Bartenders in restaurants and clubs. Sales of Time Shares, Vacation Packages, Cruises, Fitness Center/Gym Memberships, Country Club Memberships, etc. In other words, if you have been successful in a job working with the public, we want to hear from you!

Requirements

Experience, education and prior sales training are a PLUS.
High school diploma or GED equivalent

Responsibilities

Maintain inventory for the dealership
Detail client vehicles if needed
Maintain strict adherence to dealership policy on client vehicle care and operation
Note damage and notify service so a claim can be filed within 24 hours
Perform quality control inspections of all vehicles
Coordinate with sales and service to ensure on -time deliveries
