About The Position

Position: Entry-Level Toyota Parts Counter Person Duties Include: - Engaging with customers who might think a 'muffler' is what you use to quiet down your in-laws at Thanksgiving. - Ensuring parts orders are as accurate as a Toyota's odometer. - Assisting mechanics in finding parts faster than they can say, "We need a new catalytic converter." Requirements: - A genuine love for all things automotive, especially Toyota (if you dream in Toyota, even better). - Basic knowledge of car parts (we'll teach you the rest, don't worry if you can't tell a Prius from a Corolla... yet). - Fantastic customer service skills. If you can explain why a car needs a new timing belt with the charm of a seasoned comedian, you're our person. - Must have a positive personality. (This one's non-negotiable, sorry.) Bonus Points: - If you've ever rebuilt an engine in your backyard. - If you can name all the Toyota models currently in production without looking it up. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in automotive parts sales preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of automotive parts and accessories
  • Excellent customer service skills and personality
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer skills
  • Must have a valid driver's license

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Identify and fulfill customer's automotive parts needs
  • Maintain accurate inventory of parts and accessories
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent stock shortages or overages
  • Use computer systems to accurately track and record sales and inventory levels
  • Assist with special orders and back orders as needed
  • Provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Keep the parts department clean and organized
