Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • One or more years’ experience in an automotive parts capacity (i.e. parts department, mechanic, etc.)
  • Have ability to speak, read and understand English, and have basic math comprehension.
  • Must be able to use technology (scanners, computers).
  • Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced environment and achieve required performance standards.
  • The position requires climbing stairs, bending, squatting, kneeling, twisting and lifting.
  • Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs. consistently.

Responsibilities

  • Hands-on, technical evaluation of returned merchandise – automotive expertise required.
  • Verifying product, quantity, and product/packaging condition for orders returned from customers.
  • Utilizing procedures to determine the disposition of the product.
  • Sorting returned products and arranging for warranty refunds or staging for resale.
  • Communicating effectively regarding the disposition of returned items to ensure accuracy of inventory, maximize production/efficiency, minimize errors, and ultimately increase customer service.
