About The Position

EchoPark Automotive is one of the fastest growing brands within the automotive industry, building a business based on doing things the right way, from guest treatment to employee growth opportunities. The company is looking for an Automotive Parts Manager to join their team at the Nashville, TN dealership. This role involves assisting the Reconditioning Manager and overseeing the Parts department, coordinating parts for vehicle reconditioning with Service Technicians, ordering, receiving, storing, and maintaining inventory, processing warranties and returns, providing inventory fulfillment to outlying stores, managing wholesale units, and ensuring ongoing quality assurance for on-lot vehicles.

Requirements

  • Automotive industry experience
  • Have a general knowledge of vehicle mechanical operations
  • Strong computer knowledge, including spreadsheets, word processing, data entry, and inventory systems
  • Strong math, analytical, and problem-solving skills required
  • Proven ability to prioritize multiple tasks and follow up consistently
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to take ownership of the details, large and small
  • Decision-making that demonstrates good judgment

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the Auto Parts operations for the dealership
  • Interact with the Service Technicians to coordinate parts for vehicle reconditioning
  • Order parts from suppliers based on the Reconditioning Department and Technicians' requests
  • Receive, unpack, and store parts in appropriate storage areas so they are readily available when needed
  • Takes inventory and maintains records of parts received
  • Process parts warranties and parts returns as necessary
  • Maintain stocking levels
  • Provide inventory fulfillment to outlying stores
  • Trigger and execute arbitration and transportation claims
  • Manage wholesale units to include a weekly log for visibility
  • Deliver ongoing quality assurance for on-lot vehicles
  • Reporting when needed and as appropriate
