About The Position
The Hertrich Family of Dealerships is hiring a full-time Parts Driver / Parts Assistant to support their busy parts department. This is a great entry-level opportunity for someone dependable, motivated, and interested in building a long-term career in the automotive industry. Hertrich is a third-generation, family-owned dealership group with 24 Dealerships, 14 Collision Centers, and 19 Automotive Brands. They proudly support 90+ local charities and are committed to helping their employees grow and succeed. The role involves organizing and delivering parts, assisting with stocking and inventory, and maintaining delivery vehicle safety.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
- Positive attitude and team player mindset
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Organize and deliver parts to customers, vendors, collision centers and dealerships
- Load, unload, and verify parts against invoices
- Inspect parts for damage and ensure accuracy
- Maintain delivery vehicle cleanliness and safety
- Assist with stocking, organizing, and inventory tasks
- Coordinate parts deliveries and exchanges
- Support the parts department with additional duties as needed including janitorial duties
