About The Position

Drive your future at Auto-Wares Group of Companies as a Part Time Counter person! Join our team as a Part-Time Counter person! We are looking for a dependable, customer-focused individual eager to grow in a fast-paced environment for our Standish , MI store. This position offers hands-on experience, professional growth opportunities, and a chance to contribute to our mission of delivering top-notch service every day. Shift time 8am-6pm.

Requirements

Previous 3 years experience in automotive field.
Customer focused with strong communication skills.
Must be at least 18 years of Age
Valid Driver’s License
No major violations
No more than two moving violations in the past 3 years if over 25 years of age, in the past 5 years if under 25 years of age
No more than one at-fault accident
Must be able to comply with all physical requirements of position including a pre-employment physical and drug test.
Able to lift and Carry up to 50 Pounds with Both Arms.

Responsibilities

Be the face of our company by establishing positive experiences with every customer interaction.
Conduct all activities using a customer focused perspective, always providing efficient and accurate expertise.
Finalize sales using methods such as phone calls, in person communication, and more!
Establish a deep knowledge of the parts and services we provide to our customers.
Support our customers’ needs through always offering all product options to our customers and exemplifying our Never Say No values.
Assist store personnel in maintaining a clean and organized store appearance.
Contribute to the store’s daily operations by processing returns and assisting newer store personnel.
Run deliveries , put away stock and helping with inventory.
