About The Position

We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Automotive Parts Counter Person to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting customers and automotive service technicians in finding and obtaining the necessary parts for vehicle repairs and maintenance. Your expertise and attention to detail will ensure that our customers receive high-quality service and solutions tailored to their automotive needs.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in automotive parts or services is a plus.
Proven experience in an automotive parts environment or a similar role is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of automotive parts, systems, and industry practices.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Proficient in using parts catalogues, inventory management software, and other computer applications.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist customers in selecting automotive parts and accessories, providing expert advice and guidance based on their specific requirements.
Accurately identify and locate available parts using catalogues, databases, and other resources.
Manage and maintain inventory levels, ensuring that parts are stocked and organized efficiently.
Process orders for both retail and service department customers, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
Collaborate with service technicians and provide support to ensure the proper parts are available for vehicle repairs.
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns with professionalism and a problem-solving approach.
Keep up to date with industry trends, new products, and technical advancements in automotive parts and accessories.
Perform daily administrative tasks, including managing sales transactions, maintaining records, and preparing reports as required.
