About The Position

Join the Mazda White Plains Winning Team! Automotive Parts Counter Consultant Responsibilities Generating parts estimates and quotes for customers and internal staff. Shipping and receiving duties include but are not limited to check-in, reconciliation and returns management. Parts Delivery and customer retrieval/drop off. Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish. Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner. Converse effectively/efficiently regarding customer parts status. Read and understand the parts catalog when looking up and speaking to specific parts. Answer phone calls; provide price quotes and other information to customers. Review body shop estimates to verify the parts ordered are correct and all pricing is in line with the estimate. Provide high-level service to both internal and external customers. Pull/fill orders from stock and maintain weekly bin checks to ensure accuracy of stock. Notify parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention. Locate out-of-stock parts from outside sources and submit an emergency order, if necessary. Make sure all internal requests for parts are billed on repair order. Receive payment from retail customers or obtain credit authorization. Automotive Parts Counter Consultant Qualifications Previous parts department experience Customer Service, at least 1 year High School Diploma or equivalent Strong people skills with a positive attitude Sales and customer service experience Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong interpersonal and time management skills Ability to work with limited supervision Great customer service skills, follow-up and sales ability Ability to lift in upwards of 50 pounds on a continuous basis Willingness to take a pre-employment background check and drug screen Valid driver's license and clean driving record Company Overview The Premier Collection believes that its people are its most important assets. Requirements

  • Previous parts department experience
  • Customer Service, at least 1 year
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Strong people skills with a positive attitude
