Automotive Parts Clerk to assists customers in finding and purchasing the correct auto parts, handle sales transactions, and manage inventory. Requirements

Nice To Haves

• The ideal candidate for this position has a high school diploma or GED, previous experience with automotive parts and accessories, a strong customer service performance record, and strong computer and internet skills. Effective oral and written skills, good time management skills, and professional dress, speech, and behavior are all required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Customer Assistance: Help retail and wholesale customers locate parts over the phone or in person.
• Sales and Transactions: Process sales, take payments, and issue credit for returns.
• Inventory Management: Restock shelves, verify and organize will-call orders, and assist with ordering new parts.
• Technical Support: Provide information on parts and their functions, and answer technical questions from customers and other team members.
• Up-selling: Inform customers about companion part requirements and suggest additional products to increase sales.
• Record Keeping: Maintain organized records of repair orders, invoices, and other sales-related documents.
