York Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Brazil has an opening for a Full-Time Automotive Parts Counter Associate to join our growing parts department. As an automotive parts counter associate, you’ll be responsible for ensuring every customer that chooses York CDJR of Brazil for their vehicle parts needs receives quality customer service in a timely and efficient manner. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous automotive parts experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Working knowledge of manufacturer parts catalogs and DMS systems.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced dealership environment.
  • Applicants must be 18 years or older and be authorized to work in the US.

Responsibilities

  • Perform accurate parts lookup using manufacturer catalogs and dealership systems.
  • Ensure correct part number selection and VIN verification when required.
  • Place timely parts orders to support shop productivity and customer expectations.
  • Follow established dealership pricing matrices and set pricing guidelines without deviation.
  • Process parts billing accurately on repair orders and counter tickets.
  • Handle parts returns properly following OEM and dealership procedures.
  • Maintain a strong sense of urgency to minimize technician downtime.
  • Communicate parts availability and backorder status clearly to Service and Body departments.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy by following proper receiving and stocking procedures.
  • Verify incoming shipments against packing slips and purchase orders.
  • Ensure correct bin locations and labeling are maintained.
  • Process parts adjustments and discrepancies according to dealership policy.
  • Support cycle counts and annual physical inventory processes.
  • Protect dealership assets through strict adherence to inventory controls.
  • Minimize parts ordering errors and returns due to incorrect lookup.
  • Maintain timely fulfillment of shop and customer orders.
  • Support department gross profit and pricing integrity.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy standards established by Parts Management.
  • Demonstrate urgency, accountability, and professionalism daily.
  • Perform other responsibilities and duties that may not appear in this description.
