About The Position

Frontline Communications, a division of Pierce Manufacturing, has been the leading custom communications vehicle manufacturer since 1985 and has built over 2,500 highly customized vehicles for this industry. The position, Painter B, is responsible for mixing and applying epoxy and urethane coatings to products to protect exterior surfaces.

Requirements

Six months related job experience or training
All positions require the ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
Sense of sound is required
Sense of balance is required
Limb and finger dexterity is required
Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Ability to perform twisting, turning, bending, climbing, pushing, and pulling motions
Ability to lift at least 35lbs
Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)-steel-toe shoes, safety glasses, vest

Responsibilities

Inspect all parts and units to be painted
Apply class B and C paint to commercial vehicles and parts
Repair minor flaws and paint defects by wet sanding and buffing
Clean and maintain paint booth
Clean and maintain paint guns
Complete rework as needed
Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
Demonstrate effective interpersonal communication skills
Regular attendance required
All other duties and responsibilities that are assigned
