Requirements

  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
  • Michigan Mechanic Certification required.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Ability to read and comprehend technical instructions and repair manuals.
  • Strong communication skills and professional personal appearance.
  • Ability to meet company production and quality standards.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Commitment to customer satisfaction and quality workmanship.
  • Ability to follow management directions and company policies, including non-disclosure and confidentiality agreements.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work well with others, contributing to a constructive work environment.
  • Physical capability to perform job duties, including occasionally climbing, stooping, kneeling, and lifting up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Perform repair and maintenance work as outlined on repair orders at customer locations.
  • Coordinate with the Parts Department to obtain necessary parts promptly.
  • Record and document all work performed accurately.
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure work meets company and factory standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness of customers' vehicles after service.
  • Adhere to safety and housekeeping policies and procedures.
  • Stay updated on factory technical bulletins and attend training sessions.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to automotive service work.
