Requirements

  • A strong desire to learn and grow in the automotive field
  • Entry-level experience in diagnostics, electrical systems, or engine repair
  • Solid mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Dependability and punctuality

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer and diagnostic tool skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Responsibilities

  • Perform work outlined on repair orders efficiently and according to dealership and manufacturer standards
  • Conduct routine maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks
  • Inspect vehicle systems and components for safety and performance
  • Diagnose and repair automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, suspension, brakes, and HVAC
  • Use diagnostic tools and specialized service equipment to identify issues
  • Communicate with the parts department to ensure timely repairs
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Test-drive vehicles to ensure proper performance after repairs
  • Clearly communicate findings and recommendations with Service Advisors
  • Accurately estimate repair times and complete warranty work to manufacturer specifications
