About The Position

DARCARS Chrysler of New Carrollton is hiring an entry-level Automotive Lube Technician. This role involves performing basic vehicle maintenance tasks and requires strong teamwork skills, efficiency in handling repetitive tasks, and attention to detail.

Requirements

Have excellent prior work or school attendance
Have a positive attitude and be a team player
Must be at least eighteen years of age
Must have a valid driver’s license and safe driving record
Must have basic tools
Must pass pre-employment screening (including criminal background check, review of consumer & motor vehicle records, and verification of SSN)

Nice To Haves

Automotive technical school certifications
Previous experience
Apprenticeship experience

Responsibilities

Perform oil changes, tire rotations, balancing of tires and battery testing
Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance
Make accurate use of the multi-point inspection form on each vehicle
Utilize product and technical training as assigned by the manufacturer and management
Ensure that customer vehicles are returned to them in the same condition or better than when brought in
Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training, programs and schools
Continuously expand knowledge for new technologies and practice
Follow any other instructions and perform any other duties and responsibilities upon the request of a supervisor
