The Automotive Lube and Oil Technician performs lube-related services efficiently and professionally. This role requires excellent customer service, vehicle inspections when necessary, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Requirements

  • Valid, current driver’s license
  • Strong customer service skills and dedication to customer satisfaction
  • Ability to understand and follow company policies, procedures, and lawful directions from supervisors
  • Professional personal appearance and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to meet production and quality standards consistently
  • Capacity to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to read and comprehend job instructions and safety information
  • Positive team attitude and ability to positively influence employee morale
  • Willingness to maintain current technical qualifications through training

Responsibilities

  • Perform lube, oil, and filter services according to company standards
  • Conduct vehicle inspections and provide dependable service to customers
  • Maintain and clean the work area and equipment to ensure safety and organization
  • Complete required paperwork accurately after each job
  • Meet production and quality standards by setting personal performance goals
  • Attend company meetings and participate in performance management processes
  • Stay updated on product and service technology, and comply with federal, state, and local regulations
  • Foster positive employee morale and uphold confidentiality policies
  • Ensure vehicles are cleaner upon job completion than at drop-off
