Requirements

  • Experienced Registration and Title Clerk - minimum two (2) years in auto dealership
  • Experience with ST-556 and other state tax requirements
  • Knowledgeable of all DMV registration and title requirements and fees
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Positive personality, able to work in a team environment.
  • Analytical thinker, detail-oriented and good accounting skills
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.A.
  • Must have a high school degree or equivalent
  • Must pass pre-employment screenings
  • Must have a valid driver's license

Nice To Haves

  • CDK and VITU experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Accurately and efficiently process license, title, and tax paperwork for vehicle deals
  • Prepare and submit all necessary documentation to appropriate agencies for title transfers
  • Calculate taxes, fees, and other charges associated with vehicle sales
  • Communicate with customers, lenders, and government agencies to resolve any title-related inquiries
  • Collaborate with finance and sales teams to ensure accurate and timely processing
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date title records and documentation
  • Responsible for processing wholesale title work, overseeing filing of title paperwork, etc.
  • Maintain confidentiality of customer information, dealership policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned by the Office Manager
