About The Position

The Role in a Nutshell You are the bridge between our physical warehouse and our digital storefront. Working directly with our VP of Operations, you will help identify, sort, and organize 100 years of automotive history. You’ll take the lead on turning physical inventory into high-quality eBay listings by gathering part info, taking photos, and using modern AI tools to get products in front of customers.

Requirements

• The Reseller Mindset: You understand what makes a listing successful (great photos, clear titles, fast response). Maybe you’ve sold your own gear on eBay, Poshmark, or Marketplace.
• Strong Computer Skills: You are fast and accurate with web research and comfortable using AI tools like ChatGPT to speed up your workflow.
• Detail Oriented: You notice the small things—a part number stamped in a corner or a specific scratch that needs to be mentioned in a listing.
• Collaborative Spirit: You enjoy working as part of a team but are happy to put your headphones on and power through a sorting project independently.

Nice To Haves

• Car Interest: An interest in classic cars or 'wrenching' is a major plus, but we are happy to teach you the parts knowledge if you have the right attitude.
• Previous eBay Experience: Familiarity with the eBay backend is helpful, but not required if you are a quick learner.

Responsibilities

• Inventory Sorting: Help review and sort warehouse stock. You’ll assist in determining what gets scrapped and what gets sold, then organize those items for the next steps.
• Product Prep & Photography: Clean and prep parts for sale. You will take clear, 'honest' photos in our dedicated white-box studio to make sure the customer knows exactly what they are buying.
• Listing Coordination: Gather the 'raw data' (part numbers, condition, measurements) and use ChatGPT to help draft accurate descriptions. You will then coordinate with our offshore team to get these listings live.
• Project Facilitation: Support the 'Great Warehouse Cleanup' by ensuring parts move efficiently from a dusty shelf to a shipping-ready state.
• Warehouse 'Swing' Support: Be ready to step out from behind the desk to help sort parts, direct disposal teams, or assist with specialized order picking when needed.
