Our team is involved with the development of emerging technologies, electrification, autonomous driving, and sustainability to create the future of the commercial truck and bus industry. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the following: Ability to create high fidelity, presentation quality renderings and visualization of concepts. Ability to successfully translate sketch and rendered concepts into CAD or 3D model form working with digital and physical modeling teams. Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
  • OR
  • For Legal Jobs: Pursuing a Juris Doctor degree or Doctor of Law degree (J.D.)
  • Qualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B or F-1 status)

Nice To Haves

  • At least Sophomore standing for undergrad at the time of application
  • Able to work at least 12 weeks (starting the end of May or early June through August)
  • Previous applicable internships
  • High level of computer skills (Microsoft Applications and Internet)
  • Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university, pursuing a bachelor’s or master's degree in Automotive Industrial Design
  • Minimum of a sophomore undergrad at the time of application with at least a 3.0 GPA
  • Ability to use Photoshop CS, Illustrator
  • Maintain the digital data library and other digital assets for future presentations and marketing team requests

  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Critical thinking and problem solving
  • Previous internships or work experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Be familiar with the current product portfolio of International
  • Research and benchmark the competition and future trends
  • Research future trends in product design to forecast application to International products
  • Develop design concepts via manual and digital sketching and rendering
  • Give direction to digital and clay sculptors
  • Develop both verbal and visual presentations to present to management to support concepts
  • Be proactive

  • The expected compensation hourly pay ranges for hires into our campus intern openings is $27 - $32/hour. The hourly pay rate is based on year in school and is non-negotiable.
