As an Automotive Express Technician, you will be responsible for performing lube, oil, filter changes, and multi-point inspections on customer vehicles. Your role is essential in maintaining the quality and safety of the vehicles serviced while delivering excellent customer service. This position requires working in a shop setting exposed to weather conditions, noise, dust, odors, chemicals, and fumes. Employees must be able to lift up to 100 lbs and perform physical activities such as sitting, standing, bending, reaching, and using tools safely. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is recommended but not required.
  • At least one year of experience as a technician's assistant or apprentice.
  • Valid driver's license and a driving record that meets company policy.
  • Ability to work in a shop setting with exposure to noise, dust, chemical fumes, and weather conditions.
  • Capable of lifting a minimum of 100 pounds.
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers.
  • Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch.
  • Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Must be able to operate equipment and move vehicles safely.
  • Demonstrates ethical behavior and supports team effectiveness.
  • Adheres to company policies, laws, and regulations.
  • Provides excellent service and communicates effectively.
  • Acts professionally and avoids conflicts of interest.
  • Expresses issues clearly and professionally.

Responsibilities

  • Perform lube, oil, filter, and multi-point inspections accurately and efficiently.
  • Identify and assess any supplemental vehicle service needs.
  • Maintain clean vehicles and a safe, orderly work environment at all times.
  • Communicate clearly and promptly with customers and management regarding vehicle service and any issues.
  • Comply with all OSHA and EPA requirements during service procedures.
  • Support team members by sharing knowledge and encouraging best practices.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and a positive attitude in all work activities.
