About The Position

Miles Chevrolet is seeking an Automotive Experienced Detailer to join our newly created detail department, which is expanding and looking for key people to join our team in the area’s premier new auto dealer in Decatur, IL. This role involves providing high-quality vehicle detailing services to ensure each vehicle meets our standards of cleanliness and presentation before delivery or display.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an automotive detailer, preferably in a dealership setting.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of automotive cleaning materials and techniques.
• Physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning, polishing, and waxing of vehicle exteriors.
• Detail interiors including vacuuming, shampooing, and cleaning all surfaces.
• Identify and report any vehicle damages or mechanical issues.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies to ensure optimal operation.
• Work efficiently to meet daily detailing quotas while maintaining quality.
• Collaborate with service and sales teams to prepare vehicles for customers.
