About The Position

Automotive Equipment Mechanic - Internal UAW Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Defense is currently seeking a Automotive Equipment Mechanic located in Ridley Park, PA. Automotive Equipment Mechanics inspect, repair and maintain automotive equipment and hydraulic systems. Position Duties: Inspect automotive equipment and hydraulic systems, and perform mechanical repair and maintenance functions. Troubleshoot and correct malfunctions. Replace broken, worn and defective parts, and perform overhauls of automotive equipment. May be required to obtain and perform Pennsylvania State Inspection of motor vehicles. Perform emergency roadside repairs to disabled vehicles, as applicable. Provide instruction to employees designated to assist with the above duties, and assist other personnel as needed. Perform work in accordance with oral and written instructions from management and in conformance with company standards of safety, workmanship, and good housekeeping practices. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location option. This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. US person includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. This is an internal UAW 1069 posting which requires an applicant be a current internal Boeing employee who is a current UAW 1069 member. Shift: This position is for 2nd shift.
