Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Under Car Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for performing a range of undercar services including oil changes, tire services, brake repair and replacement, and suspension work. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and has experience in automotive repair and maintenance.

Requirements

  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of automotive electrical systems, computerized systems, and circuit boards.
  • Diagnostic Tools: Proficiency with scan tools, multi-meters, and other diagnostic equipment.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical problems.
  • Certifications: Often require a high school diploma, plus specialized vocational training or apprenticeship in automotive electricity.

Nice To Haves

  • ASE certification is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnostics: Using computer-based diagnostic tools to identify electrical issues in vehicles.
  • Repair & Replacement: Fixing or replacing wiring, alternators, starters, batteries, and lighting systems.
  • System Installation: Installing new electrical components, such as GPS units, beacon/strobe light.
  • Circuit Analysis: Interpreting technical wiring diagrams and schematics to trace and fix circuit issues.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Performing routine checks on electrical systems to ensure safety and performance
