Position Summary: We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Cashier to support our dealership’s sales and service departments. The ideal candidate will handle customer transactions, operate our point-of-sale (POS) system accurately, and deliver exceptional customer service. This role is key to maintaining smooth financial operations and an excellent customer experience.

Requirements

Previous cashier, retail, or customer service experience preferred.
Strong cash handling and POS transaction skills.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Professional demeanor and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Accurately process cash, credit, debit, check, and other payment transactions using the POS system.
Greet customers and escort them through checkout for vehicle purchases, service payments, parts purchases, and other financial transactions.
Ensure correct pricing, calculate totals, and issue receipts, refunds, and change.
Reconcile cash drawer at beginning and end of shifts; balance daily transaction records.
Respond professionally to customer inquiries regarding billing and payments.
Maintain a clean and organized cashier station and support front-desk operations as needed.
Collaborate with Sales, Service, and Finance teams to support seamless customer experiences.
