About The Position

Service Advisor Preferred Ford Preferred Ford is seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join our growing, customer-focused service department. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who understands dealership operations, excels in customer communication, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Position Overview The Service Advisor serves as the primary liaison between customers and the service department. You will be responsible for creating a positive service experience, driving repair order value, and ensuring work is completed accurately and efficiently.

Requirements

  • Prior experience as a Service Advisor in a dealership environment (required)
  • Strong sales, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple repair orders simultaneously
  • Proven track record of customer satisfaction and performance metrics
  • Professional appearance and demeanor

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using Dealertrack
  • Experience using X-Time
  • Ford dealership experience is a strong plus

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers promptly and professionally
  • Write accurate and detailed repair orders
  • Recommend maintenance and repair services based on vehicle condition and manufacturer guidelines
  • Communicate effectively with technicians regarding diagnostics and repair status
  • Provide clear updates to customers throughout the repair process
  • Review completed work and invoices with customers
  • Maintain high CSI standards and customer retention
  • Follow dealership processes and compliance requirements
