About The Position

2 Auto Group is seeking an experienced Automotive Controller to join our team in Albuquerque, NM. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive finance and accounting, with specific expertise using Dealertrack systems to streamline dealership operations and financial reporting. This role is vital in managing the financial health of the dealership and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Automotive Controller or similar financial leadership role within a dealership environment.
• Demonstrated expertise with Dealertrack software.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate financial information clearly to diverse groups.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

Nice To Haves

• CPA certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
• Utilize Dealertrack software to manage financial transactions and ensure accurate reporting.
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
• Coordinate with auditors and manage regulatory compliance.
• Manage cash flow and banking relationships.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management for operational improvements.
• Ensure dealership compliance with automotive industry standards and corporate policies.
