If this sounds like you, we want YOU to be part of our team! Sheehy Ford of Ashland is seeking Aftermarket Sales Consultants to join our high-performing team. As an Aftermarket Sales Consultant, you will focus on helping customers protect and customize their new vehicle purchases with our vast Aftermarket product offering. This is vital in maintaining customer relationships and ensuring our customers are highly satisfied.

Requirements

  • To be successful in this position, you must have strong communication skills, high energy, and a professional appearance.
  • We are looking for someone who is eager to learn and not afraid to put in some extra work to get the job done.
  • Previous automotive aftermarket sales experience is a plus but not a must.
  • Sales experience or experience in customer service such as retail, restaurant, call center setting, etc., is preferred but not required (sales training provided)
  • Microsoft Office knowledge (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Outgoing personality with expertise in developing relationships
  • Driven, competitive, and willing to work in a team environment
  • Must be authorized to work in the USA
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check, MVR, and drug test
  • Valid driver's license

Responsibilities

  • Determine each customer's aftermarket product needs by asking questions and listening
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge and enthusiasm for the dealership's vehicles, accessories, and services
  • Follow up with customers who have bought aftermarket products to ensure their satisfaction
  • Maintaining customer information and contacts in a contact management system
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all aftermarket products offered
  • Ability to maintain successful relationships with all team members
  • Coordinate with vendors for packages and parts
  • Report and track all aftermarket sales handling installations to be completed
  • Keep a keen awareness of showroom activity to avoid missing sales opportunities.
  • Ability to motivate and participate in training when necessary
