About The Position

Custom Truck Accessories in Reno is hiring a full-time Sales Associate to join our showroom team. We are looking for someone who knows how to sell, not just quote, and who actually enjoys the follow-up: calling a customer back, figuring out why they are on the fence, and finding a path forward. If you are the type who closes jobs that other people let go cold, we want to talk to you. The ideal candidate has genuine enthusiasm for trucks, builds, and the aftermarket scene. We want someone who gets excited when a customer walks in with a vision, who stays current on trends, and who can geek out over a build alongside a customer while also moving them through the sales process. Compensation & Schedule Commission-based pay structure with strong earning potential. Top performers typically earn in the $60,000 to $85,000+ range annually Full-time schedule: Monday through Friday

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years old.
  • A proven closer with a track record of following up, working through objections, and turning quotes into jobs
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude; organized enough to juggle multiple jobs without dropping the ball
  • Proactive and self-motivated. You do not wait to be told to follow up

Nice To Haves

  • Big plus: genuine passion for trucks, offroading, and the aftermarket. Someone who follows the trends, knows the brands, and gets excited about creative builds
  • Experience in aftermarket accessories, automotive service, or parts sales is preferred but not required. We will train the right person
  • Background as a service advisor, installer, or retail sales rep is a bonus

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist walk-in customers in the showroom, answer phones, and respond to inquiries with a helpful, knowledgeable approach
  • Own your quotes. Follow up consistently, work through objections, and turn quotes into jobs rather than waiting for customers to circle back on their own
  • Understand customer needs and recommend the right parts, packages, or builds, including more creative and custom projects
  • Build and manage work orders in our DMS system and coordinate with technicians to keep installs on track
  • Track parts orders and keep customers informed on timelines; handle warranty and service issues professionally
  • Maintain showroom cleanliness and product displays, and support the team with additional tasks as needed
