About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Accounting Associate to join our dealership team. The ideal candidate will have prior automotive dealership experience and will be responsible for various accounting functions, cashiering, reception duties, and maintaining accurate records.

Requirements

• Automotive dealership accounting experience required
• Proficient in dealership management systems
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Docs
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Regular and predictable attendance is required for this position
• Availability to work retail hours including some evenings, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions that include daily detailed processes from start to finish
• Cashiering with a strong attention to detail
• Reception with a professional, pleasant, and accommodating demeanor at all times
• Maintain accurate and confidential files and support monthly accounting reconciliation
• Daily deposits
• Titling
• Dealer trades
• Handle finance product remittances and cancellations (Service Contracts, GAP, etc.)
