Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 2-3 years of dealership office management experience preferred
  • Experience with Reynolds & Reynolds Ignite software preferred
  • Proficient in MS Windows, Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Working knowledge of dealership financial statements and multiple accounting positions
  • Strong communication and supervisory skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Detail-oriented with strong accuracy and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated honesty, integrity, and professionalism
  • Positive, helpful, and encouraging attitude
  • Ability to handle confidential information appropriately
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and follow-up skills
  • Team player able to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • 2-3 years of dealership office management experience

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the accounting office and assist with lease, retail, and wholesale deal processing
  • Process trade payoffs, daily deposits, and bank reconciliations accurately and timely
  • Maintain accurate accounting schedules and manage accounts payable and receivable
  • Process aftermarket warranties and coordinate payments to vendors
  • Ensure all financial transactions comply with company policies and procedures
  • Manage and train office staff as needed
  • Conduct floorplan audits and assist with audits and compliance activities
  • Collaborate with Office Manager/Controller on financial inquiries, reports, and special requests
  • Provide accounting support to all dealership departments
  • Assist with end-of-month reporting and procedures
